New MceL Series Gas Sensors from UK-based DD Scientific

The new MceL features a compact size of just 8.3 millimeters × 14.4 millimeters in diameter, opening up extensive development possibilities for instrument manufacturers.
By reducing the sensor volume by 75%, we enable Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to produce smaller, more wearable instruments than ever before, unlocking new markets and application scenarios.
Likewise, by freeing up space inside instrument enclosures, the MceL creates opportunities to integrate additional hardware into existing housings — whether for higher-capacity batteries, communication modules, or supplementary sensors.
Like all DD-Scientific products, the MceL is engineered for high-volume automated manufacturing — delivering cost-effectiveness, short lead times, and suitability for high-yield applications.
Currently available models in the MceL Series include the MceL OXLF/FF Lead-Free Oxygen Sensor, MceL Carbon Monoxide (CO) Sensor, MceL Hydrogen Sulfide (H₂S) Sensor, and MceL 2ECO Two-Electrode
Carbon Monoxide Sensor. Additional sensors for other common gases will be launched in the near future to further complete the product lineup.
